Vaishnavism

The traditions that worship Vishnu as supreme, in his avatars Rama and Krishna, through devotion ordered by the great acharyas and their lineages.

Vaishnavism is the largest of the Hindu traditions. Its schools were founded by the Vedantic acharyas, Ramanuja, Madhva, and their successors, and its devotion runs from the temple liturgy of Srirangam to the kirtan of the Gaudiya line and the worldwide mission of ISKCON.
