Swaminarayan Sampradaya

The tradition of Swaminarayan, the Gujarati teacher revered by his followers as the supreme reality, carried by its temples and its two historic dioceses.

The Swaminarayan tradition began in early nineteenth-century Gujarat and built one of the most organized of the modern Hindu traditions, with its own scriptures, temples, and, in BAPS, a worldwide fellowship.
