Shaivism

The traditions that worship Shiva as supreme: the ascetic orders, the Kashmiri schools, and the temple lineages of the Tamil country.

Shaivism is among the oldest of the Hindu traditions and one of its largest. It runs from the wandering ascetics of the early centuries to the great temple cities of the south, and its theologies range from the dualism of the Siddhanta to the non-dualism of Kashmir.
