After the 1923 division, Tomlinson's group continued under the Church of God name until a 1952 court settlement, and it took the name Church of God of Prophecy in 1953. Its international offices are in Cleveland, Tennessee. It teaches twenty nine prominent Bible teachings, practices foot washing, and is governed theocratically through a general overseer and appointed state and national overseers.
