Terapanth

The branch founded by Acharya Bhikshu in 1760, which unified its order under one acharya and its thirteen principles, against the laxity it saw around it.

The Jain Terapanth is the most disciplined of the Shvetambara orders: one acharya, one constitution, and a modern record of social work and the Anuvrat movement under Acharya Tulsi.
