Recurrence: Orthodox Pascha computus (the Sunday after Pentecost).
Significance
All Saints' Sunday, the Sunday after Pentecost, commemorates all the saints, known and unknown, as the fruit of the Holy Spirit's descent. Where the Western Church keeps All Saints on November 1, the Orthodox keep the feast here, closing the Paschal season. The following day begins the Apostles' Fast.
Observance
The Divine Liturgy honours all saints together, and the Apostles' Fast begins the next day.
