The "By-Line" of God

As a Christian and an apologist for Christ, the author has spent many years "looking" for evidence that the Triune God of Christianity is indeed God. The working hypothesis is that if Jesus Christ is indeed God in the flesh, then God has left his "signature" throughout General Revelation as well as Special Revelation, like a "by-line" if you will. We can organize the data by source, as follows:

First, from General Revelation:

The God of Christianity is "3" "persons" in one God, that is "3" "who's" in 1 "what", therefore, if true, we should see the Trinity ("3") "recapitulated" throughout General Revelation just as it is throughout the entire Old and New Testaments (Special Revelation).

Science has dated the Universe at roughly 15 billion years old, plus or minus 2 or so billion, (in terms of time the way we Human Beings conceive of it, and measure it). We will not discuss the issue for the time being of God's NOW time (God Standard Time) if you wish, or the Young Earth vs. the Old Earth issue. We will simply accept the Old Universe date of science for the purposes of this hypothesis. According to geology, paleontology, molecular biology etc.,, life has existed on Earth for roughly 3.86 billion years, note that the number is "3"+ billion. Human Beings reside in a solar system of 9 planets, the third ("3") from the sun. There are "3" fundamental forces of physics which "hold" the entire Universe together, the Nuclear, (strong and weak), the Electromagnetic, and the Gravitational, "3" foundational "pillars" of modern physics describe the operation of the Universe, (1. Quantum Mechanics, (the physics of the very small), (2. General Relativity (the physics of the very large), and (3. String Theory, (the physics which unifies the other 2 and lets them co-exist). At the atomic level, there are "3" basic "particles" the neutron, the proton, and the electron, at the subatomic level there are "3" basic "families of subatomic or fundamental particles.

Life on Earth is critically dependent upon water, (H2O), that is 2 Hydrogen atoms, and 1 Oxygen atom, a total of ("3"). Carbon dioxide, (CO2), is 1 atom of Carbon and 2 atoms of Oxygen, ("3"). It is required by plant life to produce the Oxygen we breath. Without it, no life exists. Therefore, the critical life elements C,O, and H are ("3"), and interestingly, the food sources for Human Beings are of ("3") basic types, Carbohydrate (CHO), Fat, and Protein, ("3").

DNA the "stuff" of life is a "3" part entity. A nitrogenous base, a Deoxyribose sugar, and a Phosphate group. There are roughly "3" billion nucleotide base pairs in the Human Genome, and roughly 30,000 genes, or "3" X10(4). All amino acids which join together to make proteins, are coded for by "3" nucleotide base pairs, for instance, ATG or CAG, ("3"). This code is used to "spell" the words that make up "sentences" which "define" all the Human proteins that exist. Human beings exist as "3" dimensional beings, created in a 4 dimensionally detectable space/time manifold by 5 basic Human Senses. Humans are composed of "3" parts; Body, Mind, and Spirit. God exists as a "3" part divine transcendent entity in unity. (The Bible says that Human Beings are created in the image of God). Here is one among many other ways in which this is literally true.

Second, from Special Revelation:

Jonah spent "3" days in the belly of a whale, Christ was tempted "3" separate times by Satan in the desert. Genesis speaks of 2 parallel sets of "3" creation days. Peter, James, and John ("3") were present with Christ at his Transfiguration "3" and in the Garden of Gethsemane "3" , "3" spirit (non-physical) beings were present at the Transfiguration of Christ, Moses, Elijah and God the Father. All "3" persons of the Triune God-Head were present at the baptism of Jesus, God the father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Peter denied Christ "3" times, Christ predicted His death "3" times, Christ fell "3" times on the way to Calvary, "3" nails fastened Christ to the Cross, "3" people were crucified at Calvary that day, Christ died at roughly 3 PM at 33, that is "3" decades plus "3" years, "3" women were at the foot of the Cross of Christ. "3" women found the tomb of Christ empty on Easter (resurrection) morning. Christ prayed "3" times in the Garden of Gethsemane. Christ's last statement from the Cross was "3" words long; "It is finished". Christ rose from the dead after "3" days. Christ asked Peter "3" times before His ascension if Peter loved him. Christ stayed on Earth 40 days after His resurrection, the same length of time he spent in the desert, a recapitulation of the 40 years the Israelites spent in the desert.

It is the author's hope that this essay helps the reader (intellectually) consider the possibility that Christ is God incarnate, that God is a "3" part divine entity in unity, and that the triune God of the Bible is God.
